J/70 Australia Class Association Membership
Season 2024-25 Registrations and Membership Renewal is now open!!!!
We have an exciting season ahead as our class continues to grow in Australia! The links below will take you into our Membership system. Our Membership Year runs from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025, which aligns with the Association's Financial Year.
A member is an owner or regular crew member of a J/70 Class Yacht, or is actively involved in the promotion of J/70 Class sailing. Financial Membership of the J/70 Australia Class Association is required for participation in all J/70 events: racing, coaching, State Championships, Australian National Championships and World Championships.
For the 2024-25 Season the costs are:
- Boat owner / crew membership $45
- Boat registration $340 (payable per J/70 annually)
If you are under 25 years of age at the start of the membership year (July 1, 2024) enter the discount code J70YOUTH for a 50% discount on membership.
Please note that you will need your Australian Sailing (AS) number during the registration process. If you don't know your Australian Sailing Number, you can look it up here: AS Number Finder.
We collect details of the boat and sail number that you plan to sail on, World Sailing Sailor ID and Sailor Classification. Entering your individual and/or boat owner details via this system helps reduce the administrative work required by the Association.
Funds collected for membership and boat registration contribute to the running of the J/70 Australia Class Association and includes membership of the J/70 International Class Association.
